Let me share my heart for the blog.

For a long time, I thought my story wasn't good enough to share, but I knew deep down that one day I'd have to tell it. I have never been much of a talker. I would much rather listen to someone else share their story than for me to share mine. But the more I tried to keep it in, the harder it became to keep my story inside. The feeling was so strong that it scared me, and I knew if I didn't share it, I wouldn't have done what I was born to do.

Sharing my story through a blog is so important to me because I don't just get to tell what I've experienced and gone through, but I also get to share the raw feelings and emotions I felt during those times. I rarely found resources that told me it was normal or okay to be angry, to feel hurt, or to be confused and overwhelmed by the circumstances I faced. Most just highlighted the problem and then told me how to solve it. My hope is for you to know that you are not alone in the situations you face, the struggles you encounter, and the emotions you feel.

My mission is to encourage you to seek after the Lord who keeps you as you go through difficult and challenging seasons of life. After you've spent some time here, I hope you are inspired to persevere through your hard seasons with unshakable faith, unspeakable joy, and unwavering hope. God's got you, sis. He's A Keeper!
